Pictures of Signed Christmas Carol Service at Hope Hall.

Here are some pictures from the signed Christmas carol service at Hope Hall earlier this month.

Jan Smith, Deaf Church Coordinator organised the event which was the first service at Hope Hall since its refurbishment. She said:

“It was lovely to see lots of people at the BSL Carol Service.

“In all our busy Christmas preparations, shopping, present wrapping, visiting it was good to stop and think why we are doing it, what is Christmas all about?

“The Christmas Story was signed by Fiona Tran, Joan Hartley, Jane Marsh, Ann Wells. Carols were signed by Janie, Julie, Ann and me but BEST of all were the children, Zara, Millie, Amber and Ali who signed Away in a Manger and Silent Night, beautifully.

“Rev. Peter Wood from Ely Diocese spoke a blessing on us all. Maybe this Christmas, you too can stop and think about the Baby in a manger?

“God with us, who came to bring hope, peace and light to the World.”
