BSL Interpreted walk around Ferry Meadows

On Friday 21 September Nene Park Trust are excited to be holding their very first British Sign Language interpreted Guided Walk with a Ranger.
The walk starts at 10:30am at Ferry Meadows Visitor Centre.

From here Ranger, Ian Lowe, along with a BSL interpreter, will take walkers around the main lakes of Ferry Meadows, taking in Milton Ferry Bridge and other points of interest along the route providing a range of interesting Park facts before heading back to the Visitor Centre.

We hope all participants will learn something new about Ferry Meadows and questions will be welcomed.

The walk will last around one and a half hours, covering approximately 4 miles on reasonably accessible tarmac and hard surfaced paths.

The walk is suitable for those aged 10 years and above.

There is a charge of £2 per person for this event and parking charges at Ferry Meadows apply.

Places are limited so booking is essential and this can be done on the Nene Park Trust website www.nenepark.org.uk

Go to Visit Us on the top menu then click on Events for the full listings where you’ll find all the walk details and terms and conditions.
