Action Deafness and the Cambridgeshire Deaf Association (CDA) are working together in partnership to deliver personal care in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area to people who use sign language and have additional needs.
Action Deafness are a CQC registered provider and deliver first class personal care among many other quality services. Cambridgeshire Deaf Association are the long-established provider of deaf services at the heart of the local Deaf Community.
Working together, we are aiming to deliver Action Deafness’ high quality care to deaf people who use sign language in our area. Care provided in sign language is essential for deaf people’s health and well-being.
We have vacancies for Personal Care Assistants for immediate start in the Peterborough and Huntington Areas
- We are also looking for someone to work in Huntingdon
- From 9-10pm daily
- 9-10am possibly every day.
- This person does not need to have BSL skills.
We’re looking for caring, understanding and professional people that can use sign language well and have attained either BSL level 2 or are working towards it.
