Cambridgeshire Deaf Association is looking to recruit a finance officer to work in the Cambridge office.
We’re a growing charity that puts deaf people at the centre of everything we do . We provide great services and have a workforce of mainly deaf or hard of hearing people.
We’re looking for the right person to help us on our journey and ensure our finances are in top shape.
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of company finances and be able to work quickly and effectively using quick-books.
The successful candidate, ideally, will have relevant accounting qualifications and thorough knowledge of procedures and principles and be able to work well to deadlines when paying and sending invoices. A working knowledge of using Microsoft office, especially Excel, is expected and the applicant must have a hands-on attitude.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and has great organisational skills who not only is a methodical worker but has the ability to deliver results whilst working well under pressure.
The role requires that the applicant provides finance support to Cambridgeshire Deaf Association, reporting to the Managing Director, assisting in the day to day running of the Association and to support the Treasurer and Trustees in financial matters.
