Action Deafness and the Cambridgeshire Deaf Association (CDA) are working together in an exciting new partnership to deliver personal care in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area to people who use sign language and have additional needs.
Action Deafness are a CQC registered provider and deliver first class personal care among many other quality services. Cambridgeshire Deaf Association are the long-established provider of deaf services at the heart of the local Deaf Community.
Working together, we are aiming to deliver Action Deafness’ high quality care to deaf people who use sign language in our area. Care provided in sign language is essential for deaf people’s health and well-being.
We have vacancies for Personal Care Assistants for immediate start. People who become Personal Care assistants will be employed by Action Deafness but may also be offered additional work as Support Worker for CDA.
We’re looking for caring, understanding and professional people that can use sign language well and have attained either BSL level 2 or are working towards it.
