There are clear benefits to being a CDA member
These include discounts on CDA Events and Sign Language Classes, and two members-only events per year. One of these events is an opportunity for you to give feedback about our services and share what you think we should focus on in the future.
CDA is happy to receive applications for membership from any of the following groups:
Profoundly or Severely Deaf People living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough local authority areas.
Close relatives of severely or profoundly Deaf People living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough local authority areas (a close relative is a child, parent, sibling or grandparent).
People who currently work or volunteer with Deaf People in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough local authority areas and have more than one year’s service.
Severely or profoundly Deaf People who do not live in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough local authority areas but whose applications are supported by two existing members with two or more year’s standing.
The annual cost of CDA Membership is £10. Annual members-only social events may include a reasonable charge for tickets to cover costs.
