There’s a new project called ‘Memories in the Community’
It’s a project involving Cambridgeshire County Council and the Cambridgeshire Deaf Association.
The project aims to collect the memories of people over 50 years old who live in Cambridgeshire.
The museums of Cambridgeshire will then put together a memory box. A box with historical items inside it relating to the person’s life. The boxes will then be put on display in an exhibition.
We’re looking for people to share their experience of being deaf and growing up to take part in the project but also be videoed talking about your life.
If you would like to get involved, please contact me, Ruth Godden at CDA.
