We are looking for someone great to come and Coordinate our work with Action Deafness in providing personal care and social inclusion to deaf people with additional needs in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough areas.
The job will include ensuring our service complies with CQC regulations where applicable; our clients are happy and maximising their independence; and our staff team is happy and motivated.
The job is based at our CDA Life office in Huntingdon and will require the post holder to meet with clients on a regular basis, conduct staff reviews, cover shifts and be on call. The role will also involve planning shifts for staff, planning holiday cover and ensuring the staff team attend regular relevant training.
The applicant must be able to use British Sign Language and have experience of personal care to people with higher needs, working with deaf people with additional needs, planning services, deaf culture and community. The person must also be able to use computers to a high level of ability in order to manage the service systems.
The applicant will work closely with Action Deafness Community department and CDA’s management team in order to ensure the success of our partnership.

- 35 hours per week (full time)
- £21,000 per annum
