- Wednesday 10th June 10am – 12pm – How to include more vegetables in your diet

Required ingredients:
Quinoa Burger and Sweet Potato Wedges
- Quinoa
- 1 x tin of black beans
- A big jar or tube of tomato paste
- Paprika
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Oregano
- Sea Salt (NOT table salt)
- Black pepper
- Breadcrumbs (or any old bread – it will be blended to become bread crumbs) (if gluten intolerant, they can buy gluten free jumbo oats and grind it)
- Olive oil
- Brown buns (only from the bakery please in any supermarket if possible. Not from the bread shelf with Warburtons, Hovis etc. The buns needs to come from the bakery and needs to be made of brown flour. And white buns are “unhealthy”. So brown buns please and emphasise on this importance). We can explain about this more during the workshop. If they are gluten intolerant, they can go without buns and eat the burgers ‘naked’ instead.
- Lettuce
- Avocado
- 2 medium onions
- 2 large sweet potatoes
Salsa and Home Made Ketchup:
- 6 large tomatoes
- 1 bunch of cherry tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- Garlic cloves
- 1 lime
- Fresh coriander
- Honey
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Worcestershire sauce
