Coronavirus Update 1

Here’s an update about what CDA are doing to help prevent spread of Coranovirus.
Firstly, no one at CDA or anyone in conatch with CDA has Coranovirus.
So no need to panic at all. Just follow the advice as normal.

We want to do as much as possible to prevent you, our staff and volunteers from catching the virus.
Here is what we are doing. Coffee mornings and drop in will not be open for 2 weeks from Monday until 23rd March. Drop in is usually are in small spaces where people sit close together and that may present more risk.

Some people who come along to events are older or may have health issues so the intention is to protect them.
We will let update you when we have more information.

Open Support Service is where people see CDA staff for support with letters, correspondance or advocacy.
Those services will carry on as normal, but please don’t come if you feel ill.

Staff will ask you if you have been feeling poorly recently. Hand sanitiser will be available so if you come please use it before seeing staff. Please also only come along if it is urgent problem.

All of our staff and volunteers have hand sanitiser and have seen information or received training about
washing hands well and regularly.

Please don’t be offended if staff or volunteers don’t shake hands or hug. There is no need to panic. Please follow the NHS advice . We’ll provide more updates in due course.
